Emma joined the TSSM team in 2023.

She is a dedicated teacher who has a passion for English and Literature. With an advanced masters degree in English and Literature, Emma has developed the ability to demonstrate an enthusiasm for writing that is contagious.

Emma is keen to help students succeed in VCE and achieve exceptional study scores through her dedicated teaching style and her ability to teach to a variety of students whilst empowering them to enjoy texts.

Her international experience teaching English and Literature abroad as well as being a VCE teacher since 2007, has enabled Emma to offer her students very specific instruction on how they can achieve exceptional results in their subject.
At TSSM, Emma is an exceptional presenter of our exam preparation and head start programs and has an integral part in writing our high quality VCE resources which are used by thousands of students and teachers alike.


Teaching Philosophy:

Emma's teaching philosophy is to provide students with the learning that they need. Teaching English involves passion, preparation and pupils: an enthusiasm for the subject, knowledge and an understanding of how the students best learn. English is a dynamic subject and involved a lot of analysing, creativity and interpretation.
