At TSSM students will be able to attend our classes at TSSM's VCE Centre in Melbourne or attend the classes on TSSM's Live and Online Platform, ensuring that those who are unable or unwilling to travel into the city will still have access to our exceptional VCE programs and excellent teachers.

TSSM’s September Holiday Units 3 and 4 English Exam Preparation Program addresses all 3 sections of the official English Exam including:

1. Section A (Text response – One third of the English examination).
   
   Students are given the opportunity to attend a detailed review of one or more of their chosen texts (from VCAA’s Text List 1) for 2 hours. TSSM covers all 20 texts from Text List 1.
    
2. Section B (Framework of Ideas – One third of the English examination).
   
   Students are given the opportunity to attend a detailed review of their framework of ideas (from VCAA’s Text List 2) for 4.5 hours. Students should note that in their examination they will be expected to write on their framework.
    
3. Section C (Analysis of language use - One third of the English examination).
   
   Students are advised to attend TSSM’s Analysis of language use session (2 hours) which will hone in on their language analysis skills.

Analysing Argument - Exam Preparation

Students will be encouraged to develop a practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study under the new Study Design including; Reading and responding to texts; Creating texts; Reading and responding to texts; and Analysing argument.

Born a Crime - Exam Preparation

Students will be encouraged to develop a practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study under the new Study Design including; Reading and responding to texts; Creating texts; Reading and responding to texts; and Analysing argument. This two hour session on Born a Crime will focus on section A of the English exam. The text response component is worth one-third of the total assessment for the examination and therefore attending this component is critical.

Chronicle of a Death Foretold - Exam Preparation

Students will be encouraged to develop a practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study under the new Study Design including; Reading and responding to texts; Creating texts; Reading and responding to texts; and Analysing argument. This two hour session on Chronicle of a Death Foretold will focus on section A of the English exam. The text response component is worth one-third of the total assessment for the examination and therefore attending this component is critical.

Framework of Ideas - Writing about Personal Journeys - Exam Preparation

Students will be encouraged to develop a practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study under the new Study Design including; Reading and responding to texts; Creating texts; Reading and responding to texts; and Analysing argument. This four and a half hour session on the Framework of Ideas - Writing about Personal Journeys will focus on section B of the English exam, Creating Text. The creating text section is worth one-third of the total assessment for the examination and therefore attending this component is critical.

Framework of Ideas - Writing about Play - Exam Preparation

Students will be encouraged to develop a practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study under the new Study Design including; Reading and responding to texts; Creating texts; Reading and responding to texts; and Analysing argument. This four and a half hour session on the Framework of Ideas - Writing about Play will focus on section B of the English exam, Creating Text. The creating text section is worth one-third of the total assessment for the examination and therefore attending this component is critical.

Students will be encouraged to develop a practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study under the new Study Design including; Reading and responding to texts; Creating texts; Reading and responding to texts; and Analysing argument. This four and a half hour session on the Framework of Ideas - Writing about Protest will focus on section B of the English exam, Creating Text. High Ground - Exam Preparation

This two hour session on High Ground will focus on section A of the English exam. Oedipus the King - Exam Preparation

This two hour session on Oedipus the King will focus on section A of the English exam. Pride and Prejudice - Exam Preparation

Students will be encouraged to develop a practical grasp of all Units 3 and 4 Areas of Study under the new Study Design including; Reading and responding to texts; Creating texts; Reading and responding to texts; and Analysing argument. This two hour session on Pride and Prejudice will focus on section A of the English exam. Sunset Boulevard - Exam Preparation

This two hour session on Sunset Boulevard will focus on section A of the English exam. The Memory Police - Exam Preparation

This two hour session on The Memory Police will focus on section A of the English exam. We Have Always Lived in the Castle - Exam Preparation

This two hour session on We Have Always Lived in the Castle will focus on section A of the English exam.
